Join SoCo Women’s Chorus for Space, a Spring 2026 concert that looks to the cosmos as a celebration of human curiosity, creativity, and connection. This program blends luminous contemporary choral music with fresh, inventive takes on pop and jazz favorites, designed for seasoned choral fans and first-time concertgoers alike.

You’ll hear inventive reinterpretations of favorites like David Bowie’s Space Oddity, Soundgarden’s Black Hole Sun, and Moon River, alongside a powerful set of modern choral works, including Austin-based composer Ritika Bhattacharjee’s The Infinity of Space and Marie-Claire Saindon’s The Girl With The Numbers, which tells the story of NASA pioneer Katherine Johnson (who was portrayed in the movie Hidden Figures).

This concert celebrates Texas’s space exploration legacy while introducing new sounds, stories, and perspectives. Come share an evening of wonder, story, and skybound sound.
